Student Housing Specialists Near BYU Idaho

The Brooklyn Apartments are a home away from home! They are super close to campus, both wards are amazing, and the kind of girls that live here are overall kind and welcoming. I lived a few places, and this is the kind of place that has felt most like a home rather than a hotel/motel. Parking is a little tight, but they have a lot in the front and a spacious lot in the back that is shared with Bunkhouse. Great price compared to a lot of the places around here, and decent storage space in the apartment itself! Overall, would recommend!

Visited my brother while in Rexburg, and I gotta be honest, Bunkhouse has REALLY stepped up their game! The new renovations look slick and it’s super bright and cozy! I’m sure the experiences could range depending on the roommates you get, but ultimately, the apartments are solid. Thanks for taking care of my brother :)

I've really loved living here so far. Although it's not the newest building, it's the best apartment community that I've ever been apart of. Everyone is very friendly and you can really get to know your neighbors if you are open and looking for it. Very Christlike community :)

I really enjoyed living at Brooklyn. It was very easy for them to accommodate my service dog (other apartments have required me to jump through hoops and redo paperwork). Management was always prompt and friendly when replying to questions I asked over text or over email and it's not a big complex so it's easy to have a closer relationship with the manager. The housing portal (where you choose a room and pay) was very easy to use and it was easy to request maintenance on it. In my experience, maintenance responded to our requests pretty fast, oftentimes on the day we submitted it. The lounge was super easy to reserve and pretty nice! The apartments are small, but I had no trouble fitting all my things into my space. I didn't have a car, and that wasn't a problem- everywhere I needed to go was within walking distance. If you do have a car, you would need to get a parking pass as soon as possible because there are only so many parking spaces. I definitely feel happy with the quality of Brooklyn in relation to what I paid for rent and I would love to move back.

Price and Location: After living there for 3 semesters, I think bunkhouse is easily one of, if not the best option for men’s housing when considering the price and location. It is dirt cheap around 1,200$ a semester, right across the street from the I-Center and a 2 minute walk from the heart building. No building on campus is more than a 10-15 minute walk from your apartment which is another huge bonus in my opinion. A lot of food options such as subway, cafe rio, and little Caesars are all within a 15 minute walk of your apartment just to name a few. (subway is literally right around the corner). It is also close to the city park and a lot of the other popular apartment complexes. Community: The two wards I was in were both very good and friendly. All my roommates were very chill and some of the nicest people I have ever met. I’d say the overall vibe of the apartment complex is pretty chill and laid back. I think this may be because a lot of residents are paying for college on their own and don’t act all stuck up and spoiled or like rabid zoo animals. There is the occasional loud apartment but it’s no where near as bad as some other complexes which somehow attract the most annoying students imaginable. The unit itself: I lived in two different buildings while I was there and I can say that the overall space is very well optimized for both of the layouts I lived in. Even though they look really small on the inside and are not the prettiest (if that something you care about) I personally never had any issues storing my all my stuff and all the appliances worked well. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit cramped but that’s usually because there will be three or four different airfryers that roommates brought in with them which can easily be moved around if needed. There is plenty of cabinets storage in my opinion for kitchen stuff. The bedrooms provide plenty of space for storage. The only downside is there is only one desk per room so you might need to get your own. There are two bathrooms, each with their own showers which is a huge bonus because you won’t need to constantly wait for one of your roommates to get out. You also get two fridges per apartment which is plenty of space for food in my experience. There is a small table with some chairs, a smart tv and two couches which provides plenty of space for sitting around the apartment. Other stuff: The “community” laundry rooms are free and work fine as long as you don’t decide to go do your laundry last minute on a weekend. The lounge is big and great for FHE, watching a movie, or playing games. It has two bathrooms in it as well which is nice in the event both bathrooms happen to be in use in your apartment. Parking is tight and getting a parking pass ($100) can be competitive but that is the same with any place in rexburg. Management and clean checks: To my understanding management recently changed so I can’t speak for the new guys but while I was there, the management was nice and quick to respond. Maintenance was also quick to respond. Clean checks were sometimes a bit harsh in my opinion (pointing out random stuff that was already cleaned) but as long as you reclean whatever they tell you needs to be recleaned you won’t get fined. White gloves at the end of the semester were always fair and I never had any trouble with getting it clean enough to pass. Overall, for the price, location, and what you get, It is by far the best cheap apartment around, especially compared to other similarly priced apartments which often are in worse their location and only have one bathroom and or one fridge. While it might not look the prettiest, it functions just fine, offers everything you need and can easily save you a lot of money and time. The only reason I’m not staying longer is because I’m getting married. 10/10 would recommend. Hope this helps.

My boyfriend lived here before his mission and this place was not good quality. But now the apartment is so much nicer. They renovated everything. They repainted the walls and redid the kitchen to name a few. I recommend this complex to everyone!
